Wednesday afternoon, our family chose to go to the pumpkin patch.....
.
.
.
.
.
upon arriving and discovering highway robbery admission of $11/person NOT including a pumpkin, we chose not to pay to play in the small roped off area...instead
.
.
we chose to walk around to the actual pumpkin patch to find our pumpkins...
We searched and searched...
Here's the best of what we found:
good choice!
another made an interesting choice.

After essentially striking out at the pumpkin patch, we remembered seeing quite a few pumpkin choices on our way home from school, so we chose to check them out:
Our big boys couldn't be happier
Nick chose a tall skinnier pumpkin
.
Tyler chose a large oddly shaped pumpkin and we all went home to dig in.
.
Tyler chose to get gooey
.
.
Nicklaus chose to get slimy
.
.
Zoe chose not to touch a single slimy, gooey thing.
Lucky for her, she had a Mom who chose to help her out with her tiny jack-o-lantern
Thank goodness for choices!

$11 per person!?! Are you kidding me?! Which pumpkin patch did you go to? I thought the $6.50 at the Country Mercantile was pushing it, but $11! I'm telling you, for that much they should at least be able to include the pumpkin and provide you tickets to Disneyland! Sheesh! Well, we did TWO trips to the pumpkin patch this year (not including the kindergarten class one) and have five pumpkins to show for it and not ONE of them got carved this year. Oh well... Yours turned out good! :-)
lol, it's like our childhood all over again. Nick is a mini you and Zoe is a mini me. Too too funny. Love the posing and how each kids personality was totally shown through their pumpkins.
